Pleszew ([ˈplɛʂɛf]; German: Pleschen) is a town in central Poland, in Greater Poland Voivodeship, about 90 km southeast of Poznań. It is the capital of Pleszew County (powiat pleszewski). Population is 17,892 (2004).
