Frombork is a small fishing village in Warmia-Masuria in Poland. It was part of Prussia, and later Germany, and was known by its German name Frauenburg from the Middle Ages until 1945.
The nearest useful international airport is in Gdańsk [1]. Kaliningrad could also be a consideration for those with a Russian visa.
From Gdańsk, take route E77 to Elbląg and than head north along the south coast of the Vistula Bay by road 503.
The town's station last saw a train in 2006. However Braniewo, 10 km away near the Kaliningrad border, and Elbląg are on the functioning rail network [2].
Local buses running between Elbląg (7-11 zł) and Braniewo (5-8 zł) pass through Frombork.

The town of Frombork is extremely small so no transport is needed. You can get anywhere on foot.
There is a hotel, though perhaps more characterful (and less expensive) are the many guesthouses scattered throughout the town.
