Moose Safari in Skinnskatteberg
Join us for an evening out in search of Moose in the Swedish forest. We have seen Moose on every tour for more than 10 years and it is common to see as many as 10-20 Moose in one evening during the Summer season April - September.

Meet wild Moose in their natural habitat - we have seen Moose on every tour since 2002
Hike through the forest with a skilled guide
Outdoor evening meal in the forest
Learn about Moose and other wildlife
Chance to see other wildlife such as Brown Bear, Roe deer, Crane, Owl, Wolf

Our guides share their skills of tracking as we search for hoof prints, fresh droppings and bite marks. We will also learn different ways of communicating with Moose.

Meet up with your guide in Skinnskatteberg in the early evening. The tour begins with an introduction to Sweden?s wildlife as well as practical guidelines on how you should act to increase you chances to encounter wild animals. We transfer together by a small van to a beautiful forest. Here, we enjoy the silence and eat an outdoor dinner together in the forest. We are now deep in the Swedish taiga forest, surrounded by wild animals! We then spend the evening hiking and driving through the woods in search of Moose and other wildlife. We observe the animals from a respectful distance and we never feed them. Listen to the sounds of the forest and see millions of stars come out as dusk falls. After dark we conclude the tour and return to civilization with lots of new knowledge and a great respect for nature.
